Rothmans Escort Replica
A recent car build by the CarrPrep team. This customer wanted a period works MK2 Escort replica in the Rothmans Rally Team colours. The shell was modified by CarrPrep and the car built in house with 2 litre BDA, ZF gearbox and all the usual period refinements.
The car is fully FIA documented and will be competing in Spain and Mallorca as well as UK during 2022 and was a recent article in Retro Ford magazine.
This car shows how versatile our team is, recreating some of the key features of a Rothmans/David Sutton car to the finest detail.

This car was built from the shell up and is an all out Tarmac Rally Escort with a massive specification.
CarrPrep designed carbon fibre panels make this car lightweight and along with a 2.5 litre Millington engine and sequential gearbox the car is already showing great potential on the stages
Suspension is Reiger and geometry and corner weighting was done in house giving the CarrPrep team full control on the final setup. This car is another example of what CarrPrep can offer, this car boasts some of the lastest developments in modern day electronics whilst keeping the 1970's body shell.
